Égides is an international organization whose mission is to promote equality and inclusion for individuals who are vulnerable or excluded due to their sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or characteristics. Its aim is to work for the well-being and advocacy of the rights and interests of these individuals in French-speaking areas. The organization seeks to gather and support, on an international scale, groups, communities, organizations, and collectives representing LGBTQI individuals wherever French is a relevant language for support and action.
