L’Euguélionne is a feminist bookstore and non-profit solidarity co-op in Montreal, also known as Tiohtià:ké, on unceded Mohawk and Algonquin territory. The bookstore specializes in women*’s literature (fiction, poetry, comic books, essays, young adult fiction and children’s books) and feminist, queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, asexual and non-binary, two-spirited, anti-racist, anti-colonial works, etc. We also host diverse literary feminist events including launches, reading circles, talks, workshops and round table discussions.
ASTT(e)Q promotes trans health and well-being. The project helps people with their daily needs by offering support services as well as weekly group meetings.
Euphorie dans le genre – Fierté trans is an organization dedicated to defending the rights of trans people. It is equally dedicated to educating people about trans realities. Euphorie supports and seeks to create trans-led care networks for the rights and well-being of trans and gender non-conforming people in low-income and marginalized areas of society.
Agenda is a bookshop and a café in Tiohtià:ke/Mooniyang (Montréal) with the purpose of supporting the creative work of queer and trans people and promote transfeminist ideas. They aim to build material resilience for transmisogyny-affected people by providing wages and financially supporting authors and initiatives through books and zines sales.
Head & Hands strives to promote the physical and mental well-being of youth. Their approach is preventative, inclusive, non-judgmental, and holistic, with a fundamental commitment to providing a supportive environment for youth experiencing marginalization(s). They seek to empower youth, and to facilitate social change based on the needs of youth within the community and society at large.
Andréa provides body awareness coaching and somatic experiencing sessions for individuals interested in embodiment, moving with greater ease, and connecting more deeply with their authentic selves. Their offerings include group classes, private touch-based movement sessions, and workshops tailored for community groups and workplace wellness programs.
Creative Taxes is a small accounting/tax firm located in NDG, focused on serving Montreal’s creative and professional community, drawing on their own experiences as artists and musicians. They work with individuals as well as corporations on all accounting and tax matters. The foundation of their business is the trust they have built with clients through hard work, thorough communication, and honest interactions. Through these relationships, they further their mission to increase financial and tax literacy within the community.
