Bringing over 25 years of experience in community finance, the Community Finance Clinic is a grassroots financial and economic wellness clinic where low income 2SLGBTQ+ individuals facing financial and economic exclusion and the by & for groups that support them can access free or low-cost financial services & support.
By 2026 we aim to implement programming developped by and for he communities we serve! Trauma-informed professional development training for professionals in the financial sector, Community-led financial literacy programming (Community Initiatives) and labs that address specific topics such as grant strategies, diversification of revenues, development and networking.
NOTE: This program will prioritize low income underserved 2SLGBTQ+ individuals and is a collaboration between Juri Trans, Jeunesse Lambda, AGIR Montreal and ASSTeQ
By 2026, we aim to implement our volunteer-based income tax preparation services. We'll be able to refer eligible taxpayers to this program, thereby avoiding tax preparation fees altogether!
